ABOUT THE AWARD
The Anugerah MyPesara is the first of its kind to acknowledge and appreciate public sector pensioners who have made a positive impact in their lives and the lives of others in the fields of Education, Social and Community Service, and Entrepreneurship. By identifying the outstanding individuals who have taken up meaningful roles in the community post-retirement, the Anugerah MyPesara inspires others to break the cliché of retirement and be an advocate for productive aging.
AWARD CATEGORIES
SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
This award is accorded to the pensioner who has contributed to the provision of aid to resource-deprived communities and to increasing social awareness on state to international platforms.
EDUCATION
This award is accorded to the pensioner who has actively been involved in enhancing learning processes and paving the way for education accessibility in marginalised communities.
ENTERPRENUERSHIP
This award is accorded to the pensioner who has showcased outstanding entrepreneurial skills through sustainable business in various sectors such as agriculture, services, manufacturing, food and beverage, and many others from which job opportunities are created and there are contributions to the economic development.
ELIGIBILITY
The Anugerah MyPesara is the first of its kind to acknowledge and appreciate public sector pensioners who have made a positive impact in their lives and the lives of others in the fields of Education, Social and Community Service, and Entrepreneurship.
By identifying the outstanding individuals that have taken up meaningful roles in the community post retirement, the Anugerah MyPesara inspires others to break the cliché of retirement and be an advocate for productive ageing.
A Malaysian citizen aged 55 years old and older.
Former employees in the civil service who have retired from the federal, state, statutory and local authority, except ATM veterans. The participants should be those who still receive monthly pensions from the Government.
An individual who is actively contributing to the community and has made a profound difference while demonstrating successful practices in the respective field after retirement, for a minimum period of 5 years.
Candidate has yet to receive any national level or international awards or accolades for his / her contribution.
Self nominations and 3rd party nominations are accepted.
All nominations are required to be supported by relevant documents as proof.

SUBMISSION
- Download and fill out the nomination form.
- Attach supporting documents for verification and due diligence purposes in the form of published articles, press releases, and copies of your certificates of engagement / membership / achievements.
- For the entrepreneurship category, your company must be registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), and financial documents must be submitted.
- For the social and community category, your organization must be registered with Registration of Societies Malaysia (ROS), and the relevant documents must be submitted.
- All supporting documents accompanying the nomination form must be authenticated by the Government Officer of the Management and Professional Group / Ketua Kampung / Penghulu / Oath Commissioner / Member of Parliament / Member of the State Assembly. If these documents are submitted without acknowledgment of original legal copies, the documents will not be taken into account in the evaluation session.
- The nomination form and supporting documents must be sent by email, post, or in-person to KWAP Office in Kuala Lumpur or Cyberjaya Office or during Jelajah MyPesara KWAP programmes.
- If the nomination form is submitted via email, kindly ensure to fill out the Subject tab with the title ‘Anugerah MyPesara’. Whereas for submission by post, kindly ensure to mention ‘Anugerah MyPesara’ as the title on the top left of the envelope.
